Carpet python IMG 1086 - This Australian reptile is a non-venomous snake that kills its prey by constriction. It is a relatively common species but poses no risk to humans. This one was dozing in an empty wheelbarrow in the photographer's garden as it warmed itself up in the early morning sunshine.
