blue-faced honeyeater, Entomyzon cyanotis feeding on flowers

Blue faced honeyeater Entomyzon cyanotis IMG 7414 - It's easy to see how this bird acquired its common name, and its vivid blue face patch makes it very easy to identify. It was feeding on the attractive nectar-laden flowers of one of the Australian native corkwood trees (Euodia elleryana syn. Melicope elleryana) in the photographer's garden.
