ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Stephanie Jackson is never happier than when she's travelling in the great outdoors taking photos of Australian landscapes or of the unique wildlife of Australia, or exploring - on foot or by kayak - the country's rivers, lakes, coast, beaches, and national parks. Her work as a freelance travel writer and photographer provides an opportunity to do all this and to have an enviable lifestyle that many people would consider is an endless series of holidays.

Her written and photographic work has, over the 12 years of her career, been published in numerous newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA.

Although the primary emphasis of her work relates to travel, she also covers agricultural issues, with her material published in several of Australia's most popular rural magazines, including the national publication Small Farms, to which she has been a regularly monthly contributor for five years.

Stephanie Jackson's articles and photographs have also been published in the prestigious magazine Australian Photography, and have been used by Australian regional tourism authorities in their promotional material and on their websites.
