Koala IMG 9964 - The nocturnal koala spends its days dozing in the fork of a tree, and this Australian native animal, photographed in the wild, was doing just that in the forest of its native habitat on Raymond Island, a slither of land close to the East Gippsland region of Victoria. The animal is often referred to as a 'koala bear' but it is not a bear.
