Australian cattle egret chicks IMG 7482 - Cattle egrets
roost in large numbers in the botanic gardens in the Queensland city of
Bundaberg, and with its extensive network of natural lakes, it's an ideal spot for
them to breed. These chicks, sitting in their nest of jumbled sticks, were
excitedly awaiting the arrival of a parent who would undoubtedly bring food for
its ravenous offspring.
