Grassy Head 253C

253C   Pandanus palm trees are a prominent feature of many coastal areas of eastern Australia, and sprout among

rocks at the Australian town of Grassy Head in NSW. Grassy Head gets its name from the tall, grass covered

headland that juts out into the Pacific Ocean and that dominates the landscape. The town itself -  little more than a

cluster of houses and a small caravan park - is hidden from view behind the forest cloaked sand dunes that border

the long and sandy beach.
