D598E  The still and sheltered waters of Wagonga Inlet, formed as the Pacific Ocean meanders inland at the foot of the forested hills of  the Australian Great Dividing Range, are a haven for waterbirds and for human visitors to the nearby coastal town of Narooma, NSW,  who enjoy exploring the vast waterway in small boats or doing a spot of fishing.
