400E - Tree in river -

400E   A solitary Eucalyptus tree has created its own minute island in the blue waters of Australia's Murray River in a demonstration of survival. The Murray River, one of the country's major waterways, is threatened as a result of drought and irrigation projects, but nature has ensured that this tree, although once close to death, has been given a second chance at life and remains a part of the landscape.
