The landscapes that surround the coastal town of Yamba in northern New South
Wales vary dramatically. At
the base of a high and rocky headland, waves rolling in from the Pacific Ocean
crash into the Australian coastline. The
sea rolls into the mouth of the nearby Clarence River and becomes increasingly
calm as it unites with this important and
picturesque waterway. And to the south, the forests of vast national parks
stream down to sandy beaches.
