wool bay, yorke peninsula

panoramic coastal landscape jetty at Wool Bay

Jetty at Wool Bay IMG 1059 - Wool was once the major rural product that was shipped from the jetty at Wool Bay, on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula, but now it's only anglers who make good use of the structure as they try their luck with hook, line, and sinker. The white structures in the distance are the silos of Port Giles from where grain grown in the region is stored until transferred to ships that dock at the nearby loading facility.
