TOWAMBA RIVER, NSW, AUSTRALIA

BACK TO PHOTO GALLERY OF AUSTRALIAN COAST AND RIVER LANDSCAPES

D717E   The waters of the Towamba River in NSW move at a slow pace that mirrors that of the nearby village that bears the same name. And the few travellers who pass through the region do so at a pace that is far from rapid too. The area is accessed via a tortuously winding and narrow trail, officially known as The Snake Track, that slithers through precipitous mountain ranges.
