Grevilleas are native to Australia where this large genus of plants includes tall trees such as the Silky oak - Grevillea robusta - and diminutive prostrate varieties. Many hundreds of hybrids are available, with these widely grown in Australian parks and gardens and in other countries where their popularity is continuing to increase. They are extremely hardy plants that are tolerant of dry conditions.
