Nepenthes D175

D175  Huge pitchers of Nepenthes sibuyanensis x truncata - a carnivorous plant. This unusual tropical plant obtains nutrients from decomposing insects that fall into its hanging pitchers and drown in the water that they contain. Nepenthes are tropical plants that, in their natural habitat, grow in the trees of rainforests. They can be successfully cultivated in an outdoor garden in areas with a warm climate, and can be grown in a greenhouse in cooler areas.
