Nepenthes D261

D261 Nepenthes sibuyanensis x truncata - a carnivorous plant commonly referred to as a ' Pitcher plant ' for obvious reasons. Tropical plants that, in their natural environment, grow in the trees of rainforests, Nepenthes obtain their nutrients from the insects that fall into their trap and drown in the water that the pitcher contains. They can be grown outdoors in warm climate gardens where they require a site with adequate shade and moisture. In cooler areas they can be successfully cultivated in a greenhouse.
