D411 Blue flowers of Pontederia cordata, an aquatic plant commonly known as ' Pickerel rush  or Pickerel weed ' that, in its natural environment, grows in the margins of swamps and lagoons. It makes a colourful addition to a garden pond or other water feature, but should be grown in a container to control its rapid and invasive growth habit.
