Bandicoot IMG 9533 - This attractive Australian mammal is a nocturnal animal. It's diet includes roots and grubs that it digs up with its sharp claws, and that makes it unpopular when it arrives to dine in someone's garden. This bandicoot was photographed in the wild in the Wallingat National Park, in the Myall Lakes region of NSW Australia.
