Sand dunes in Myall Lakes National Park NSW Australia IMG 9311
- The sand dunes at Dark Point, in this vast coastal national park,
appear to be a fragment of a Saharan desert landscape, but it's all an illusion.
On one side of this immense volume of sand lie luxuriant forests, and to the
east, the Pacific Ocean laps at the feet of the dunes. The tiny figure of a
solitary hiker on the distant horizon gives some idea of the size of this
spectacular feature of the Myall Lakes National Park, which is a popular
Australian tourist destination.
