Aboriginal rock art IMG 9415 - Australian
aboriginal people created these primitive designs on the walls of a small cave
at Mount Grenfell, west of the NSW outback town of Cobar, many thousands of
years ago. Their sketches may have been nothing more than doodles to pass the
time of day, but these paintings, which include an image of an emu, a large
flightless bird that's still common in outback Australia today, are now afforded
the grand title of 'art'.
