EASTERN WATER dragon lizard

Eastern water dragon Physignathus_lesueurii IMG 2358 - TThis Australian lizard, as its name implies, spends much of its time in and around water. It may, to some people, have a frightening appearance, but it poses no threat to humans. It was photographed in the wild in a lake in the botanic gardens in the Queensland city of Bundaberg.
