CATTLE EGRET CHICKs

Cattle egret chicks Ardea ibis IMG 2211 - These chicks had ventured out of their nest and were impatiently awaiting the arrival of a parent that would bring food. Large numbers of these and other waterbirds have made themselves at home in the botanic gardens in the Queensland city of Bundaberg.
