Golden whistler

Male golden whistler, Pachycephala pectoralis, IMG 6271A - It’s the male of the species that’s the most eye-catching character, with the female being a drab creature that would turn the head of no one other than her mate, for her plumage is primarily dull grey-brown in colour.
