Cattle egret IMG 1306-E2 - Male cattle egrets don bright orange plumage during the breeding season and look their best when they're helping their mates to raise their chicks. This bird was photographed arriving at a nesting site used by large flocks of waterbirds near the Queensland city of Maryborough.
